Kyle O'Donnell (born 9 October 1990) is a rugby league footballer for the Newcastle Knights of the National Rugby League.[1] He usually plays at lock or second-row but can also slot into the centres and on the wing. He is the younger brother of Australian international Luke O'Donnell.

Born in Nowra, New South Wales, O'Donnell played his junior football for the Greystanes Devils, and attended Primary school at Mount Pritchard East in Sydney's south-western suburbs. He then later played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks lower grades. In 2009 O'Donnell joined the Sharks Toyota Cup side and played on to 2010, he then signed a 2-year deal with the Newcastle Knights starting in 2011.[2] He has not yet made an appearance in the Telstra Premiership.
In 2008, O'Donnell played for the NSW CCC side. In 2010, O'Donnell was selected in the Junior Kangaroos squad.
O'Donnell signed with the Newcastle Knights on the 27th of June, 2010.[3] Knights coach Rick Stone rated him as a player with real potential.[4]
